Excellent finding Evert! Terrific. So, this means that the JTAG is not actually Disabled, and, when Njepsen sets PORTC.3 as a UART he is actually manipulating the TMS pin for the JTAG interface. I'm...

Probably because I also turn off Jtag fuses in fuse setups. The line in code was only in case I forgot. On that subject - it would be very handy if one could set the fuses in software. I know $prog is...

[quote:030910f37d="MWS"] For the JTag issue, it's easy to fix, look for m1284pdef.dat within Bascoms's main directory, make a copy first, then open with a text editor and look for "MCUCSR", you'll...

Hi, for all my MYSQL Routines, you have to fill in 2 Bytes in Declaration of Variables. Before Bascom 2.0.7.7 it worked without; dont know why  I made a String overlay on 5 long variables. But in...

in total you need 200mA current? Try to use an 220 or 470 uF Cap and not such big 4700uF. A big C always has a big L :D Rule of thumb: 1000uF per 1A
View ArticleBASCOM-AVR : Brownout reset : REPLY
No I only pull about 20 - 30 mA ( disregarding peaks from the SD card). I started off with 470uF, upped it to 1000 a few weeks ago ( bigger must be better ) :D then upped it again to 4700 in...

I'd suggest to reset MCUSR as soon you have read it. And use a block capacitor of low ESR close of the SD card, ceramic C preferable. And bigger is not better, lower ESR is better, as you'll likely...

The SD card is not connected or plugged in at the moment - thing is except the +12 and debug sw uart. The SD card carrier has a 0.1 and a low esr 10uF right next to the carrier.
