Thanks Paul! I'll post the results here; I should have something in a week or so. I have a collection of ATMEGA48 chips on hand so I'll try using one of those (with appropriate $regfile change). If I end up with the same humidity results I'd say the sensor is of limited value. I have managed to get the SHT11 chip working using code I found here at this website. It reads about two degrees high in temperature and about 5 percentage points low in humidity. I have to go back and check the math routines, but that it how it reads at the moment. Perhaps that is the best one can hope for with these sensors. Anyway, thanks for your input and I'll respond back as I get the DHT22 up and running (hopefully) in the near future. Cheers, Gary
