Sometimes this forum is just plain good therapy.......
I have been working on this problem for several days. Once I type the above forum post, I started to realize what was happening.
The server request I sent was asking for encrypted response, that is why FireFox/FireBug displayed it properly.
So if one reads RFC 2616...they will know better. :oops:
Sometimes you are to fixated on the trying to get the code correct, when the code is correct and you just aren't paying attention to what you are requesting.
RFC reading is NO fun either, but it now works......
