Note that if you actually build this you need to include a By-Pass capacitor, 0.1 uF, from Vcc to Ground, and another one from AVcc to Ground.
I know you don't need the for the simulator, but don't forget them!
Also, look closely at your micro's data sheet.
On many of the AVRs, for most configurations, ARef is NOT tied to V+.
It just has a cap to ground, if the ADC is being used.
Connecting the ARef to Vcc can damage the Internal reference, and damage the ADC, etc.
It can make the chip draw lots of current, and get hot.
It can destroy the chip.
Do check this before actually building it.
