bascomp.exe is calling the same compiler. but it depends on the parameters. how exactly do you call it? you can best attach a zip file with : bas, cfg, and batch command file that calls bascomp. then there is something to check.
also, make sure bascomp.exe from the 2077 application folder is called. maybe you running another version?
