yes search is your friend :-)
the reason why xmega is/was not supported is that it is not a really hobby friendly chip : there is no PDIP.
And since the interrupt vector table is big, it will eat up a lot of code too.
Some users, use the demo for more than 10 years. i want to give them an incentive to get the licensed version because developing and supporting is time consuming.
On the other hand with new modules that make xmega more easy to handle, and the fact that one should be able to try before buy, and the fact that educational institutes use the demo, i agreed some time ago to add xmega to the demo. so the next demo release will support xmega.
