Yes, i know. I'm not that experienced as Sarek above, for example, so i can't explain more accurately. It seems that XMEGA just doesn't communicate with touch chip - since i don't have any serial analyzer, i can't tell whether there's a problem in TX or RX section...from i've seen with oscilloscope, clock is running, but nothing happens on RX and RX lines... I just thought to mention if you heard about similar problems from others... maybe one thought: can be in any way connected with the fact that now i use xmega128a1U-au, while before i used xmega128a1-au? i started my project about 2 months ago, at that time i've had A1 chip on my demoboard, which i fried  then i bought A1U. about that time i also updated bascom to 2.0.7.7, so now i can't be exactly sure if i used old or new version of bascom on fried chip... Anyway, it's not a big deal for now. Let's wait for official version. If the problem persists then, we will talk further... for now i succesfully use 2.0.7.6.
