I am new here and actually being a mechanical engineer I am not very experienced with programming. However it turned out to be extremely useful even in simple applications. So I hope you can help me with my problem.
Here my question:
I want to use timer1 as an impulse counter. So far no problem. But I want it to count up or down in different situations. (e.g. Read high or low from any other pin). The COMPARE functions don't help here. At least not just like that. Counting up or downwards seems possible in pwm mode with "Compare A Pwm = Clear Up , Compare B Pwm = Clear Down "
Is something like that possible for my impulse counter as well?
Or does anybody have an elegant alternative to solve the problem?
