I like the RX-8025 clock chip as it has a per-calibrated inbuilt crystal, if you happen to have a very high accuracy reference you can even re-calibrate it. It is good to around 13seconds a month. It has an inbuilt alarm register so it can create an interrupt at a pre-set time and date which is good for an NTP time update. With the web server I am looking at why it does not see like Linux have not had time to do so for a while.
