BASCOM-AVR : Preferred editor fonts IDE? : NEWTOPIC

Hi all, I was not so happy with de editor font in the IDE and tried something else. Actually wanted something like Fixedsys or Terminal. By messing around I lost the original Bascom setting and could not revert to it. ([color=brown:70e42b82fe]Is there supposed to be a default?[/color:70e42b82fe]) Anyway I had to find out a solution. It appears that Fixedsys and Terminal are 'old' raster fonts that the IDE does not want. There are specific 'programmers' fonts. They have to be mono spaced. Also I looked for readability characters like 1 l 8 6 0 O o . , : ; Some time ago someone said it had to be Dejavu Sans Mono as the ultimate font set and I had installed that. Not bad. I use 8pnt size and can have 45 well readable lines on my laptop. Looking further I found that there is standard Consolas available on every Windows computer. That was really beautifull! But further investigation showed hard to differentiate between 1 (nr) and l (chr). That has been solved with Inconsolata.otf I use 10pnt for 45 lines. Really excellent readability. (Note: Inconsolata even allows more lines, but characters seem some more blurred then Dejavu Sans Mono. For me Dejavu is the best.)
