Mark,
Many, many Bascom revs ago I used this SOFT function(2005), IIRC. I might have had the 32.768KHZ enabled on the STK501 and just forgot....
You are correct, not that I doubted you. Done this before mentality, so I did jump over the important parts of the help file.
I adjusted Luciano's overflow values * 2, to get the time increment to be correct due to the main osc differences. Yes it will drift as you indicated but in my application that is ok as I am using a soft clock(for offline) and a NTP(online), when a connection is established and the time is off locally, it will be adjusted.
Lesson learned and hopefully this will also help others.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Mark
