Yes and no. the new boards arrived last Friday and I assembled one and it worked first off. No mistakes. i have had it running for 3 days and no resets yet.
However, during testing i did find one thing, which I think may have a bearing on my brownout problem. I am driving 2 leds off two A port pins, via a 470 to ground. One led flashes at 5hz and the other is variable ( shows wind speed). Each led pulls 4.5ma
I notice that when I look at AVcc, there is a 5Hz 5-10mv ripple on this pin, and a large spike as the 100uH choke that supplies this pin, rings. The choke is 100uH 0.5ohms
This ripple and ringing does not appear if I turn the leds off, or if I flash the leds from any other port. It seems that this A port sources its current from Avcc.
I am wondering if this ripple and ringing ( the spikes are quite large - I will post scope traces tomorrow) are occasionally triggering my brownouts ???
I will dream up a test to check thus out.
