OT,
I soldered up/built a Elektor 500ppm LCR meter. For MCU, they used a Silicon Labs 8051 variant, coded in "c" but what was enlightening, is the PC UI, "LCR Meter AU2011" using Nokia Qt 4.8.0 C++ cross platform development environment.
