thank you for sharing. an interesting project indeed. did not knew these msgeq chips. good old equalizer times :-) one small thing ; you do not need to disable interrupts in the ISR. The chip handles this for you automatic. When the ISR ends, the interrupts are enabled again. That is the global interrupt switch, the same which is handled with disable/enable interrupts. So you can remark these lines.
