- input and inputbin are 2 different things. - you paid BEFORE this functionality was added. - futures are added but like mentioned, some times i wait on feedback. Why spending time in implementing code that nobody needs? You paid long time ago and got all these years free updates. i need to take care how to use my resources. When i get requests for a certain future at support, i will simply count. if many users ask for a new dat file and i get a chip, i add it. if only 1 user asks for a feature the change is little i add it. Exception are users with a support contract, those customers get features earlier but the pay for it. - xmega is a different device : you only need to add something once, and it works for all xmegas and resources. Exception is the buffered serial which is not implemented for the last 4uarts. but since it was requested often, this is added too. - i do not understand the fuzz you make , so the help contained a mistake. it is relatively simple to write a custom buffer/input. - this is the USER forum, not support. - i am sorry that the help contained wrong info but i will change it or implement the functionality for the other uarts. - for the next time, supply some good info. and do not draw wrong conclusions about bugs which are not there. Because the help was wrong the bug was that config input did not work for the second uart. when using multiple processors, create a DSN file which is simple to test, and do include the source zipped or as txt. If you (or anyone) only includes code on the web and $regfile is missing, i will not have a good look at it. It could have saved you time. If you have further remarks you can send them to support.
