I found this old thread about making AVR studio 6.0 accept bascom obj.
In order to simulate this dreaded "crystal-refuse-to-start" thing I mentioned in another thread last week, I tried Studio 6.1 now when it is here,
but with no luck.
It is true that the two references in Atmelstudio.pkgundef that you had to remove, is now removed from the file as standard.
But still there is a problem loading object files from bascom for debugging.
Could you perhaps check if Studio 6.1 can load ANY of your object files.
If not I will have to find an old install of Studio 4. But will it support Xmega ???
