there is no problem with the compiler. you can best contact support. send a zip file with the source and all created files. and do not forget to mention the serial number. some people download software from dubious sites for various reasons and when it does not work they blame the software. when a patched version is detected you do not get a warning but instead the compiler creates some random problems. or the problem can be caused by the patch. when using an official version you can best contact support. or you can remove the software and use the demo. but make sure it is downloaded from mcselec.com only in m128 mode you can use the m28def.dat file. for M103 mode (the default fuse bit setting) you should use m128103 a simpler test : config portb=output do toggle portB wait 1 loop the chip can run at a different speed. (slower than you specify) and then you must have some patience since the frequency will be lower. or a brown out could be active which resets the chip so it never reaches the other code.
