I have been working with the DHT11 sensor but was not happy with the humidity results I know the code works as I can calculate the crc correctly, the problem was the sensor never gives anywhere near the reading I get from my wet/dry hygrometer so I went looking for another sensor I found a Honeywell one HIH-6130, more expensive but I2C with compensation built in this one lines up exactly with my hygrometer. Note the hygrometer is a proper meteorological instrument so its readings are correct. Thus if you want real readings that mean something do not use the DHT11 while its saying 37% the HIH-6103 says 61% the same as the hygrometer. When I clean it up a bit I will make a new post with the HIH-6130 working code.
